Gifts at Work

Your contributions help support UC San Diego’s educational mission through innovative programs and services that promote student learning, personal development and well-being.

Parents Fund

Contributions to the Parents Fund come together to benefit students in long-lasting, tangible ways:

  • Colleges: UC San Diego’s six colleges are on-campus residential neighborhoods with their own living facilities, staff, traditions and general education requirements. Gifts to the Parents Fund support programming tailored to each college’s student body, while focusing on five key areas: arts and culture, social innovation, Writing Center, Regents Scholar Research Initiative and college capital improvements.
  • Scholarships: Academic Excellence Scholarships attract, retain and graduate the most sought-after students in the world and help elevate UC San Diego.
  • Student Affairs Projects and Initiatives: The Parents Fund supports student-centered projects and programs that have a positive impact on undergraduates across campus. Gifts help strengthen leadership and internship programs, service-learning opportunities and the First Year Experience Course, which transitions and prepares students for success at UC San Diego.

Support Your Passion

UC San Diego’s Parent and Family Giving program includes interests across campus. From the Library and Writing Center, to Athletics and Student Health and Well-being, you can designate your gift for any college, academic department or campus resource. The possibilities stretch as far as your imagination.

For more information about any of these programs, please contact Jen Stanley at (858) 822-3867 or parentfamilygiving@ucsd.edu.
